Davis Gate Barn Cottage, Dutton, is a newly converted single storey stone barn which provides sustainable and environmentally friendly holiday accommodation for up to 4 people in a very peaceful location. It is situated on the southern side of Longridge Fell in Lancashire's picturesque Ribble valley.

The accommodation is very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. The cottage with its own private garden enjoys spectacular views over the Ribble valley extending to Pendle Hill.

This eco-friendly cottage is placed in an ideal location to explore the coastline with the seaside towns of Lytham and Blackpool; Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, all within an hours’ drive. There are many local amenities and attractions within the Ribble valley and Trough of Bowland. It is situated between the market towns of Clitheroe and Longridge and is 1˝ miles from the village of Ribchester.
Ribchester, which sits on the banks of the River Ribble is steeped in Roman history, has a roman museum, several pubs and a cafe.

There is easy access to beautiful walks with a footpath passing close by and is ideally suited to keen walkers and cyclists. However, Dutton also provides an ideal base for exploring the Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland by car.

The cottage is located on the owner’s small holding where sheep and free range chickens can be seen in the nearby fields. By arrangement holiday makers may have the opportunity to be involved in some of the small holding activities including lambing.

A private garden round the front of the cottage includes a patio with garden furniture and a small grassy area. An ideal place to relax and enjoy the views.

Services: - Central heating is provided by heat pump warm air; and hot water by solar panels with a back up immersion heater. A wood burning stove in the lounge helps supplement any additional warmth and an initial supply of logs is included in the rent.
Also included is Double Oven, Microwave, Electric Hob, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine and also a colour TV and DVD player. A cot and high chair can be provided by arrangement.
